Biosecurity and Managing CWD Risks in Farmed Cervids

This series of short animated videos was created to support development of biosecurity programs to protect cervid operations against chronic wasting disease (CWD) by introducing CWD risks, transmission pathways, practical farm examples, prevention practices, and assessment tools.

This video series was developed through collaboration between the Pennsylvania Dept of Agriculture and the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, and produced for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture under USDA APHIS Cooperative Agreement AP22VSSPRS00C157 “CWD Training, Outreach, and Producer Education Program.”
